TGIF ladies! Today, we're dreaming of taking a perch in the beauty of Death Valley National Park, California & Nevada, USA, just like globelle gal @wanderlust_and_lipstick did here. Beautiful shot lady! In the spirit of all things Friday, here are five fun facts about the park & the states it's found in, California & Nevada: 1 ) At 3.4 million acres, Death Valley National Park is the largest National Park you'll find in the United States. 2 ) If California was a separate nation, it would have the 8th largest economy in the world. In 1996, it would have had the 6th! 3 ) All hass avocados are descended from a single tree in Canada, which was planted with an unknown subspecies of avocado (and yes HQ wants to try that subspecies too!) 4 ) Although California is known as the golden state, Nevada actually provides the majority of US gold. 5 ) With fewer than ten inches of rain per year, Nevada is the driest state in the USA.
